Roles we offer

Teaching Assistants (TA) and SEN TAs

At Jackson Hayes, we recognise that TAs are essential to the smooth running of any classroom. Their support helps to create an effective learning environment, allowing teachers to focus on delivering high-quality education while ensuring students receive the individualised attention they need. While a specific qualification is not required for these roles, we do ask that candidates have previous experience working in a childcare or educational setting. This background ensures they are well-prepared to meet the demands of a dynamic classroom and make a meaningful impact on students’ learning and development.

Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We offer a wide range of exciting vacancies for both Level 1 and Level 2 Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), tailored to different support roles and responsibilities. Whether you are looking for long-term, part-time, or graduate positions, we have opportunities that fit your lifestyle while allowing you to make a real impact.

As an LSA, you will have the chance to work closely with students, providing one-on-one support to children with needs such as Autism, communication difficulties, and learning challenges. You will help students stay on track with their academic goals, foster strong relationships to build trust and emotional wellbeing, and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure the best learning experience possible.

Cover Supervisors

Cover Supervisors are an invaluable asset to schools, particularly when unexpected teacher absences occur. To help you understand the role more fully, here are some of the key responsibilities:

   •    Supervising the class in the teacher’s absence

   •    Assisting students in completing the work assigned by the teacher

   •    Managing classroom behaviour throughout the lesson

   •    Providing handover notes and feedback for the class teacher

Administrative Staff

School Administrators are key to creating an effective and supportive educational environment, ensuring that schools run smoothly and efficiently. Their responsibilities span a wide range, from overseeing day-to-day operations and managing staff to implementing curriculum standards and fostering a safe, inclusive space for all students. Serving as a vital link between teachers, parents, and the wider community, administrators help build a cohesive and thriving school culture.

At Jackson Hayes, we recruit for a variety of school administration roles, including:

   •    Receptionist positions

   •    Administrative Assistant roles

   •    SIMS Administrator jobs
